Launch and build the first NGV at the Campus as a prototype for sustainable future living.
Adapt and replicate the NGV in Bioregions on all continents to multiply templated solutions.
1. Purpose and Need:
Climate change effects and the limitiations of the extractive economic and financial system demand a complete transformation
of how we live, work, and consume resources. Our Society desperately needs positive visions for the future and alternative social models that inspire and demonstrate what a sustainable Transformation looks like in our villages and cities. The NGV will provide real-world examples of these. We will bring together some of the world’s brightest minds and creatives talents to build the Next Generation Village in Switzerland. It will become a home for pioneers, inspiring our collective imagination of what life could look like in a sustainable, progressive and culturally thriving society of the future.
2. Living laboratory Innovations:
Energy, food production, resource management, architecture, manufacturing, and mobility are developed and tested. A new monetary and economic systems will be created and explored using digital currencies.
3. Global Expansion:
From the initial prototype in Interlaken, templates will be created.
NGV’s are planned for numerouscontinents including Europe, Africa,
North and South America, Australia, and other locations in New Zealand, China, the Arctic, Greenland, and the Azores.
